COLDTANK builds electric refrigerated tricycles in partnership with established tricycle chassis manufacturers, and supplies a 4-wheel electric refrigerated van on a Geely chassis. Both are aimed at the same job: moving chilled or frozen cargo through dense urban routes without a diesel engine.
Before you order: box-only supply
Most countries regulate electric tricycles as vehicles, not as refrigerated equipment. That means type approval, registration and in some markets a local roadworthiness inspection. In the EU, an 18 km/h tricycle with a 5.2 kWh pack falls into L-category vehicle rules.
The practical alternative: we ship the refrigerated box alone. You mount it on a chassis you already source and sell locally, which avoids vehicle type approval entirely and cuts shipping volume. Many of our distributors start this way and move to complete units once they have volume.

We ship the refrigerated body, you mount it on a chassis sourced locally. Avoids vehicle type approval, cuts shipping volume, and is the route most of our distributors start with.
Complete unit
A fully assembled tricycle or van. Best once you have volume and have confirmed what your market requires for registration.
