COLDTANK is the brand of Ningbo Lenecold New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., founded in April 2022 in Zhenhai District, Ningbo, Zhejiang. We design and manufacture DC variable-frequency refrigeration systems, vehicle-mounted refrigerated and frozen boxes, electric refrigerated tricycles and an IoT cold-chain monitoring platform.
Incubated by the National Graphene Innovation Center
We are an incubated company of the National Graphene Innovation Center (NGIC), a national-level innovation platform approved by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, with more than 150 member organisations. This matters for a buyer evaluating a supplier overseas: it is an externally verifiable relationship, not a marketing claim. We work on graphene-enhanced insulation and thermal materials with NGIC, alongside our main refrigeration business.
What we make
- Refrigerated and frozen boxes — 40L to 3850L, in rotomoulded HHPE and glass-fibre, from 0°C down to -20°C.
- DC refrigeration units — GP1000 and GP2000 series for 1–3 m³, TK500 for 5–8 m³, 12V to 72V, rooftop integrated or split.
- Electric refrigerated tricycles — 1000L class, DC60V, chilled and frozen versions, complete units or box-only.
- Insulated passive boxes — 50L to 1130L at 2–8°C, for medical and food distribution without active refrigeration.
Why we focus on DC
Most refrigerated transport in emerging markets runs either a diesel genset or an AC unit through an inverter. Both add a conversion step, a failure point and fuel cost. Running the compressor directly from DC removes that, and for any operation using a battery or solar supply it is the obvious architecture. It is a narrower business than selling generic refrigeration, and it is the one we chose.
