Moving vaccines, reagents, blood products or temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals means holding 2–8°C, then proving that you held it. The equipment is a small part of the problem; the process is the rest.
What a medical cold chain needs beyond the box
- Pre-cooling procedure — the box is brought to 2–8°C before loading, documented, every time.
- Temperature logging — a data logger inside the box, not just the controller display. Regulators want a record, not a reading.
- Backup power — if the vehicle stops, the box has to keep running. Our units offer optional 220V backup and independent battery supply.
- Excursion protocol — a written procedure for what happens when the log shows a deviation, and who signs it off.
- Qualification documentation — mapping the box's temperature distribution under load, if your regulator requires it.
Suitable models
The HG-140L at 140L and the FC-40L at 40L are the usual starting points for pharmacy and clinic distribution; both can be set to 2–8°C. For larger medical distribution the HG-580L at 460L is the next step up.
We can supply the equipment, the setting range and optional logging. Formal validation against your local GDP or equivalent requirements is a process you or your customer's quality team must own. We will tell you exactly what the equipment can and cannot demonstrate.
Discuss a medical and pharmacy cold chain configuration
Send the cargo, the route and the temperature requirement, and we will recommend a box and an EXW price.
